Burns Painting began in 1927 serving Oregon and Southwest Washington in commercial and industrial painting.  Sometime in the 1950's, John Burns was joined by his sons as they painted large projects such as the Lloyd Center and the Interstate Bridge.  In April 1960, the business was incorporated under the name of John W. Burns & Son, Inc.  During the 1970's, we painted many gas stations as well as the tank farms in NW Portland.  It was during this time that Al Burns became the sole owner.   The business was purchased by Nik and his family and has been under present ownership since 1978.  Keeping the future brighter through painting!  We currently serve Portland and Vancouver in a variety of commercial and industrial painting.  Some interesting work includes various schools; the city's parking meters; the notable Paul Bunyon in the Kenton area of town; the street light poles in China Town; various schools in Multnomah County; Marshall swimming pool in Vancouver; and the water tower near Tower Mall area in Vancouver.
We never get behind in our work.
